Sale-a-bration Stamp Camp -My Version

Here are some cards from Saturday's stamp camp I attended. I like to put my own spin on each card to make it my own.

The only things I changed on this card was to add the embossed dots to the yellow paper and I mounted the white paper without tearing it on an angle, put the ribbon across the green and white and popped the heart over the ribbon.
This card's original backing was a piece of plain river rock cardstock. I decided to change that to some Delicate Dots DP (which I added piercing to) backed with choc chip cardstock. I also trimmed the top notes die and added another one of choc chip to the back of the original die to pop the image. One last thing I changed from the original card was that I used the dots embossing folder to give dimension to the green cardstock.

All I did to this card was add a pearl to the center of the flower

This one originally had a ribbon on the top of the yellow scalloped cardstock and I decided to just scallop both ends and leave off the ribbon. I also added some blue gemstones to the centers of the flowers and popped them off the card.

Here I just adde the piercing for a little accent and eliminated the sponging on the ribbon

Isn't this just a darling little box? I didn't change a thing about this one except for a little sponging around the "To You from Me" stamp. The template for this box was cut from one of the stampin' up dies for the Big Shot machine.

On this card, I changed out the background from the hot pink that matched the heart eyes to a piece of kiwi kiss to match the leaves and then I pierced around the edge of the yellow cardstock. I also sponged the leaves with kiwi kiss ink to make the outline pop and left the owl chipboard with a mottled look rather than coating it completely with the choc chip ink. I thought it gave the appearance of feathers. Finally, I popped both the leaves and the owl to give the card more dimension.

  1. These are fantastic! My Darling Dots and those punch stamps are on the way for me too. We seem to choose a lot of the same materials so I guess great minds think alike, huh? :)

  2. So adorable Emily!! I love how you put your own "SPIN" on these cards. I do the same thing when I'm at a workshop or camp. Great cards using the SAB sets. I have to chase a few of these... LOL!! Hugs... :)
